Kiwi legend at Coyle Park
Kiwi legend Don McGlashan takes to the stage with his band The Seven Sisters at Pt Chevalier’s Coyle Park for another dose of Holden Astra Summer Sounds on Auckland Anniversary Day, Monday, 28 January.
Don McGlashan is a taonga (treasure) of New Zealand music, who tells stories of the land and its people. He has won many prestigious awards and composed for numerous films and television shows, including Sundance Film Festival favourite No.2.
Other acts include ex-pat Australian Tim Guy and the Heavy Jones Trio.
Holden Astra Summer Sounds is part of Auckland City Council’s Music in Parks programme, celebrating 15 summers of free, live Kiwi music in our spectacular open spaces.
