Sports Live on 27 and 28 December, here’s what sets the event apart from any other aviation sports events the world has
seen…
400 million viewers – will watch Air Sports Live via TV stations and internet around the globe
112 cameras – will feed footage to a microwave transmitter in the aircraft or strapped to the pilots’ body sending a signal to the
onsite outside broadcast truck. From there it gets sent the internet streaming converter, which feeds via satellite into
the web via the main distribution point in Germany.
1 live coverage web site – all the action can be viewed live or on demand at www.airsportslive.com together with expert commentary and real-time 3D graphics from Animation Research. Live coverage is free with video on

1 big screen – spectators on Wanaka Airfield will not only be able to watch all the action above their heads, they will also see

114 competitors – featuring some of the world’s best pilots including world champions, European champions, world record holders and
