A trip for two to Fiji and a Sony digital camera are the two major draw-cards at new community travel site winaholiday.co.nz
Visitors complete the free membership registration process, answer a simple question correctly and they’re in the draw for five-nights at Golf Terrace Apartments, a his and her spa pamper pack and a free round of golf each in Denarau, among other bonuses.
Winaholiday members can also upload their favourite sunset pics for a chance to win a snazzy 7 megapixel Sony snapper valued at $229 and a canvas print of a treasured shot worth $165.
Site directors Jo Harvey and James Graham – both longtime travel industry professionals – have also created a handy where-to-stay section in which winaholiday members can share their own resort reviews.
“While the competitions get people through the door, our main aim is to create a community feel to the site and make sure all our members win on some level,” says Graham, who has been writing about travel for almost 20 years.
“It’s all about arming people with the right information. By combining what we know with the knowledge of our members we’re cutting down on the excuses for ever having a bad tropical holiday again.”
Winaholiday also boasts a handy travel-related health and beauty section, tips for getting married in South Pacific hotspots, travel features and up-to-the minute news of the best holiday packages.
