New Zealand's most sensational journey launches its fresh new face today.
Queenstown's all new Dart River Jet Safaris, formerly Dart River Safaris, has undergone a major makeover reflecting the culmination of twenty years of experience, growth and development.
Sporting a fresh new look on its boats, buses, shops, staff, and marketing collateral, and a new interactive website, Queenstown's Dart River Jet Safaris has spent the last six months refreshing and tweaking its three amazing safari adventures.
Dart River Jet Safaris is now the only company to operate on the Dart River, taking visitors on the region's longest and most sensational jet boat ride into one of New Zealand's most spectacular locations. Here visitors can explore the remote wilderness in three very different ways - by Wilderness Safari, Jet Boat Safari or Funyak Safari.
The Mt Aspiring National Park, within Te Wahipounamu World Heritage area, with its braided river channels, snow-capped mountains, ancient forests, waterfalls and glacial valleys, is so stunningly beautiful it's become the ultimate inspiration for film makers from around the globe.
Dart River Jet Safaris Manager Andy Chapman says the journeys are so much more than a jet boat ride.
"It's Queenstown's 'must do' activity bringing together the very best of what New Zealand has to offer in one sensational journey - jaw-dropping scenery, action and adventure, friendly Kiwis and Maori heritage.
"Whether you're an adventure junkie, a nature lover or fall somewhere in between, the Dart River experience has everything to satisfy people of all ages.
When we say these trips are sensational, we mean it, and that's backed up by 20 years of customer feedback."
Originally established by legendary Queenstown entrepreneur and former world jet boating title holder Neil Ross in 1987, Dart River Safaris was bought in 1996 by Shotover Jet Ltd (now Ngai Tahu Tourism) and over time, operations were expanded.
'Funyaks' was added to the mix in 1998 and in 2006 Dart River Safaris bought and integrated Dart Wilderness Adventure.
The end result is New Zealand's most sensational three-adventure package.
