Out of the paddock, into the shed
Three very scantily clad fairies just went past on roller skates - the Revenge of the Amazons has most definitely arrived! It's booking up quick - so get your skates on!
And due to touch down tomorrow is Godzone, a brilliant wee play that spawned from a 48 hour film festival challenge about sheep! You can check out that film here.

\Have Yourself an Alternative Little Christmas
If you dread all of the consumerism and fake-snow-on-shop-windows that goes along with Christmas, why not try something a little different?
Here are some ideas:
- Use recycled paper to wrap your pressies, or even newspaper.
- Buy someone an online music download voucher - no wrapping paper or transport costs!
- Have a 'buy nothing' Christmas.
- Vouchers for goods and services (like massages, music, clothes, theatre shows etc) are only one piece of paper and they allow you to support local bands, designers, shops, venues etc.
- When everyone asks you what you want for Christmas, tell them to take whatever they want to spend on you and give it to a charity of your choice.
- Buy second hand goods! A nice vintage dress, retro crockery and all sorts can be found at your local op-shop, trash palace or David N White Gallery!
- One of my friends figured out the perfect price ceiling for gifts. She spends no more than $12.50 per person, which is enough to get something useful and personalised without going overboard.
Here's a few websites that might help in your quest for an ethical, anti-consumerist Christmas.
Trade Aid, Buy Nothing Christmas, Oxfam Unwrapped Gifts.
