Discover The Real New Zealand In Total Style
Maui, the largest motorhome provider in Australasia, has launched an exciting new partnership that provides a unique way for tourists to see New Zealand. The partner is Native Parks, a company that has developed a nationwide network of businesses and properties available for motorhomes known as Motorhome Havens.
Businesses and properties included in the Native Parks network include small lifestyle farms up to large sheep and cattle stations, boutique small businesses, wineries and country restaurants. Staying on those properties gives visitors the chance to access local people and experience more of New Zealand than would be possible at traditional holiday parks.
Native Parks was developed in 2003 by Adrian Tonks and Carmen Penney who felt travellers did not get enough opportunities to meet New Zealanders with interesting lives, careers and hobbies.
They have noticed the majority of travellers who stay at Native Park motorhome havens are mature, sophisticated travellers from the United Kingdom, the United States or the European market - the same type of person who chooses Maui Motorhomes.
Travellers who choose Maui Motorhomes do so because Maui sets the standard for comfortable, flexible travel. The motorhomes, which are appointed with the ultimate in sophisticated detailing, allow travellers to explore the country at their own pace and in their own way. Now with the Native Parks partnership, Maui travellers are able to interact with and experience local communities.
THL’s Sales and Marketing Manager for New Zealand, Kate Meldrum, says the company is very pleased with the new partnership and what it offers to travellers.
"Maui provides the perfect motorhomes for travellers and with Native Parks’ fantastic network, together we are creating wonderful travel experiences for our international visitors while enhancing the lives of New Zealanders culturally and economically," Kate says.
THL, owner of Maui, Britz and Backpacker Campervans, is committed to ensuring all travellers enjoy a quality holiday, not only by offering this in their own motorhomes but also with the partners they work with in the wider industry. So in addition to the partnership with Native Parks, they endorse all holiday parks with Qualmark status. They have had a long-running and robust relationship with Top Ten Holiday Parks and work very closely with the Holiday Parks Association of New Zealand (HAPNZ). Top Ten Holiday Parks maps are available at all THL Rental / Maui branches in New Zealand allowing travellers to create the itinerary that works best for them.
Maui encourages all campgrounds and holiday parks in New Zealand to obtain the Qualmark Status. So much so they jointly sponsor two Qualmark Awards (with Qualmark) at the HAPNZ conference every year.
To celebrate the partnership with Native Parks, Maui Motorhomes is offering one free day for every seven days booked. The offer is available on any Maui Motorhome for travel from 10th January to 10th February 2008. Quote booking code BACH08M when making a reservation.
You can book your Maui and Native Parks trip through the Maui website, www.maui.co.nz or by calling 0800 651 080.
