The Spice Girls may have reformed but they’re leaving New Zealand off the world tour so Wellington’s top drap troupe are offering the next best thing with The Glamazons in Spice World at Imerst Nightclub on 8 December 2007.
Joining iconic queens Natasha Crowe (Sporty), La Toya Jacksin (Ginger), Ellie Kat (Baby) and Victoria (Posh), is special guest Arabia—Miss Drag Wellington 2006—as Scary, for a night of Spice-filled fun. The girls are promising a huge show with Imerst turning into a major concert venue with sets at 12:30am; 1:15am and a finale at 2:00am to bring the house down.
La Toya says “We were all gutted the Spice Girls left New Zealand off their world tour, so thought why not do our own Spice Girls concert? After all they’ll probably just mime like we do!”
As usual, The Glamazons and their team are working hard to produce their trademark top-of-the-line music videos to project behind them during their performance, many of which have become YouTube hits.
“We’re always blown away by the popularity of the videos, but it means that each one we try and take it up a notch, and the SpiceWorld show is no exception,” adds Natasha.
Promising stunning costumes, innovative choreography, platform shoes, a comprehensive set-list and great prizes up for grabs, The Glamazons in Spice World is going to be the place to be on 8 December!
