Global Reach – In Conversation with Amotz Zakai
Script to Screen invites LA teacher, film producer, development executive and agent Amotz Zakai into the Writer’s Room in Auckland this November.
Join MC Vanessa Alexander to hear Amotz share stories of taking culturally specific and independent projects to international screens.
Amotz brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, having been involved in the development of Oscar winning feature Tsotsi by Gavin Hood and Oscar nominated Water by Deepa Mehta.
In his role as a manager of writers and directors under the Echo Lake Productions banner, Amotz represents notable international names including David Ward, John Carpenter and Antonia Bird, along side our own Toa Fraser.
