What not to plant! A special guided walk with the Sanctuary’s Biosecurity Officer
Sunday 18 November. 11am-12.30pm
Learn about the Sanctuary’s ‘war on weeds’ with the Sanctuary's Biosecurity Officer. Booking is essential. $20/adults, $10/kids. Special members’ rate and exclusive shop discounts for tour participants. Call 04 920 9213 for more details and to book.
Twilight wine-tasting and wander with Peregrine Wines
Wednesday 21 November. 5.30pm-8pm
Sanctuary supporters Regional Wines & Spirits are holding one of their sell-out wine tasting evenings at the Sanctuary as a fundraiser. Enjoy and learn about a range of wines from prestigious Gibbston Valley winemakers Peregrine. Then take a short cruise across the lake and marvel at the Sanctuary’s unique dusk chorus.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy the Sanctuary at its most spectacular whilst enjoying a few glasses of top-notch NZ wine – the perfect pre-Christmas treat!
