Tiki Taane's first live show since embarking on his solo journey is a highly-anticipated live musical experience. Ex-frontman for Salmonella Dub, Tiki is perhaps one of the most acclaimed musicians in the country doubling at times as an award-winning audio engineer, which has gained him boundless respect within the NZ and overseas music industries.
A household voice, known for hits such as "For the Love Of It", "Love Your Ways" and more, Tiki now brings us "Tangaroa", "Now This Is It" and the various other excitingly diverse tracks off his debut solo Top 10 album, "Past Present Future".
Tiki will have a full band on tour made up of some familiar faces including his father Uekaha (Ko Tane Cultural Experience) and will also be supported by Sunshine Sound System and MC KP. Top sound engineer David Wernham will be coming from Australia where he has been employed fulltime for the last several years as ex-Kiwi band Shihad’s soundman.
“Expect a heavy show, we’ll be playing tunes for the first time off the album "Past, Present, Future" and also the tunes i wrote while with Salmonella Dub like 'Love Your Ways', 'Longtime' and 'For The Love Of It” Tiki promises. “ We’re gonna bring the fire."
