Happy Feet New Zealand Premiere
WHAT: HAPPY FEET, the latest animated blockbuster movie, premieres in New Zealand at Sky City Cinemas Newmarket
Auckland on Saturday December 16. The cinemas are being transformed into an “Antarctic Boogie Wonderland” in a special
event for children of all ages!
The film which features the voices of Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Nicole Kidman, Brittany Murphy and Hugh
Jackman has already grossed over US $100million at the US box office.
The story centres on the great nation of Emperor Penguins, deep in Antarctica, where you’re nobody unless you
can sing – which is unfortunate for Mumble who is the worst singer in the world. He is born to his own tune.. tap
dancing.
Directed by Australian George Miller, (Babe) HAPPY FEET is not only a penguin “singing and dancing extravaganza”
but features ground breaking state of the art animation that has lifted the bench mark in computer generated movie
making.
