Michael Campbell gets in the swing!
Golf fans can get up and personal with 2005 US Open Champion, Michael Campbell at the charity dinner, An Evening with Michael Campbell and Friends to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House in Wellington, the New Zealand Junior Golf Foundation and the Winning Edge from 6.30pm on Monday 4th December at the Hyatt Regency Auckland on the corner of Waterloo Quadrant and Princes Street.
MC is broadcasting legend, Paul Holmes and entertainment will be provided by Murray Deaker, Temuera Morrison and Frankie Stevens.
Michael’s goal is to help, inspire and motivate young people particularly from disadvantaged backgrounds. He has established the Michael Campbell Foundation which supports Ronald McDonald House in Wellington, the New Zealand Junior Golf Foundation and the Winning Edge (WEDGE), an initiative whereby a number of promising Kiwi golfers will benefit from Michael Campbell sponsorships each year.
The event has attracted the cream of New Zealand’s sporting personalities – past and present – and glitterati including Frank Bunce, Jude Dobson, Jay Jay Feeney, Grant Fox, Andy Haden, Dominic Harvey, Hamish McKay, Mike McRoberts, Karen Olsen, Brendan Pongia, Kelly Swanson-Roe, Hilary Timmins, Greg Turner, John Walker and Steve Williams all attending for charity.
