Revamped Arts Channel appoints new Director of Programming
Fresh on the heels of its successful relaunch, the new and revamped Arts Channel is pleased to announce Gresham Bradley
as the new Director of Programming.
The only dedicated Arts Channel in the country is now locally programmed with the knowledge of what programming works
for New Zealand viewers. Bradley comes to the Arts Channel with over 25 years of experience in television programming,
much of that in the Arts arena.
Arts Channel Chairperson David Ross said, “Having Gresham here in New Zealand programming the channel with kiwi art
lovers in mind is going to bring a huge benefit to the Arts. Gresham is ideally equipped for the role of delivering more
diverse and accessible programming including increased New Zealand content that will appeal to a wider audience”.
Gresham Bradley said, “I’m looking forward to building on the past several years of great programmes on the Channel, and
to introducing a new schedule in early 2007 that will offer a wider range of Arts and Culture programming to appeal to
New Zealanders of all ages”.
The arrival of Bradley strengthens the Arts Channel’s focus on providing the best arts and cultural television from New
Zealand and around the world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Bradley is currently in acquisition mode at MIPCOM, the
largest international programme market in the world.
Whether you are an art lover, a theatregoer, a bookworm, a dance addict, a music buff or a design nut, you are sure to
find a programme on the new Arts Channel that fascinates, entertains and informs you.
See the new revamped Arts Channel, (Sky Digital Channel 59), New Zealand’s only dedicated, and now only locally
programmed, channel to the Arts.
