A Desert Mystery, Dual Realities and Checkout Chat Ups
The Flying Fives Film Festival for 2006 has announced the finalists that have made it into the final ten.
A deadly desert mystery and quest, the possibilities from dual realities and the truth and lies behind the favorite lines used at supermarket checkouts are three of the varied themes featured in the finalist films chosen by the Fives judges.
“It’s great to see some of the very polished films entered this year, both locally and from overseas. The production values are exceptional and the story telling is very creative,” said Flying Fives Producer Keith Hawke.
“The audience this year will see some original approaches to the art of storytelling.
“However we do encourage entries that are in progress and ideas that have the potential to be developed into longer formats,” said Mr Hawke.
The films will be screened at a special function in Nelson Saturday 4th of November from 6pm in the Suter Movie Theatre. Tickets will go on sale from Monday 16 October.
