Kiwis Agree Rachel Hunter Has The Best Behind
The votes are in – the most bootylicious of them all is Rachel Hunter!
Almost a quarter of Kiwis agree that Rachel Hunter has the sexiest derrière of any New Zealander. Rachel fought off some beautiful bums for the prize, including Sarah Ulmer, Charlotte Dawson, Kylie Bax and Nicky Watson to name a few.
To mark the launch of its NIVEA Body Goodbye Cellulite Gel in July 2006, Beiersdorf New Zealand commissioned a cheeky national survey with almost 300 respondents investigating the good, the bad and the ugly world of bums and thighs.
“From determining who had the best bottom in New Zealand to asking New Zealanders about their attitudes towards cellulite, the survey resulted in some fascinating feedback,” says Beiersdorf New Zealand Product Manager, Joanne Hall.
Respondents to the NIVEA Body Goodbye Cellulite Gel survey also voted on international backsides of high repute. Angelina Jolie came out on top with over 30% of the votes, followed by Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez. Surprisingly, Beyonce’s bum has lost its bodacious appeal receiving a mere 5% of votes.
Heading into summer, one in five Kiwi women listed cellulite as what they feared most about getting into a bikini this year.
“For 16% of women, the major concern was whether their “bum looked big in a bikini,” says Joanne. “But cellulite’s obviously a weightier issue. In fact, those surveyed were more concerned about their cellulite than being attacked by a shark when at the beach!”
“One in three Kiwi women admit to having ‘a little cellulite,’” says Joanne. “And there are a lot of people concerned about cellulite particularly in the under 30 age group (26%).”
Surprisingly, however, survey results showed that women in Auckland were less self-conscious about cellulite when at the beach than their Wellington and Christchurch counterparts.
In fact, more than double the number of women in Wellington (34%) worried about cellulite than women in Auckland. 33% of Cantabrian women listed cellulite as the scariest thing about hopping into a bikini this year whereas only 4% were worried about whether their bottoms looked big in a bikini.
“We can’t help Kiwi women with the size of their bottoms or with their fear of sharks but we hope NIVEA Body Goodbye Cellulite Gel goes some way to making the upcoming summer more enjoyable for women,” says Joanne.
Containing the skin’s own L-Carnitine, NIVEA Goodbye Cellulite Gel smoothes, moisturises and protects the skin. The main ingredient of Good-bye Cellulite Gel is L-Carnitine, a substance which occurs naturally in the body. When applied, it quickly breaks down the fat deposits which cause cellulite, resulting in smoother skin.
A recent German survey showed that 70% of women who used NIVEA Goodbye Cellulite Gel were convinced that after four weeks their skin felt firmer and smoother.
