James Dobson, AKA Jimmy D, launched his Winter '07 range 'Everybody Loves Nobody Sometime' to a wide-eyed and energetic crowd. Styled by Mint Condition's Chris Lorimer, the range was bold and dark taking inspiration from the Teen Apocalypse film trilogy.
The models took to the catwalk looking like they were out of early 90's Los Angeles with demure hair and make-up contrasting the heavy black and white clothing.
The collection featured prints of half-hearts on oversized tee shirts, skirts with asymmetrical lines, and raw hemlines and sleeves. A mixture of draped silk georgette and polished cotton with fine wools and t-shirting giving the looks layers and texture.
Set to a punk rock electro-chic soundtrack, Jimmy D kept the audience alert and energised through the show with his big 'in your face' pieces.
Garments missing sleeves, collars slashed away from the neck and tees turned into makeshift kimonos were all key features of the show. An exciting range that customises classic shapes and gives them a whole new lease on life.
