Media Release Beige Brigade Headquarters
Just a quick note to let you know that the Beige Brigade will be in attendance at tonight's global, world international premiere of the play, The Underarm, up at Centrepoint in sunny Palmerston North.
We will be making a road trip up from Wellington with our driver hired from Student Job Search at the wheel. We are hoping for red carpet treatment and looking forward to the Australian characters getting some stick as the onstage drama unfolds. If come of them get hurt during proceedings that would be quite good too.
We will also be bringing our most prized possession to Palmy - the Underarm Ball, from the infamous match all those years ago. It is the Ball's first outing since a luncheon earlier in the year. It is kept under a lock and key in a sophisticated security fortress in downtown Auckland.
Of course, as is customary, we will dress up like idiots and enjoy a few ales tonight as well. Should be a cracker. See you there.
