Red Hot Chili Peppers "Under the Bridge" Voted Greatest Song of the 90's
C4 viewers may have voted Nirvana Nevermind as the album you must own in last weeks U CHOOSE 40, but this week - the Seattle rockers lost out to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Guns n Roses in votes for the greatest song of the 90's. Red Hot Chili Peppers "Under the Bridge" came in first, followed by Guns n Roses "November Rain" and then Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit". "Come As You Are" came in at number 9 - making Nirvana the only band with two tracks in the Top 10. The Exponents "Why Does Love Do This To Me" was the only NZ track to feature in the 40 songs chosen by C4 viewers. The full Top 40 is shown below. This weeks U Choose 40 is "Top 40 Fashion Disasters" ironically marking the launch of NZ Fashion Week. Visit www.c4tv.co.nz to vote.
