Hi there, this is to let you know about an upcoming exhibition by emerging artist Nicky Ball.
This series of 7 works is constructed from tissue paper and acrylic paint. The result is an eclectic mix of colour, pattern and optical illusion.
The perception of tissue paper as fragile medium is challenged and given new meaning through the use of bold colour and texture.
The exhibition is at Rise Cafe (90 The Terrace) and runs for 5 weeks from Monday 21st August.
