The Boys Are Back For More Ngati Nrl!
League fans better book the sofa because sports reality show NGATI NRL is back with an explosive new series on Thursday August 17 at 8.00 PM.
Now in its fourth season, NGATI NRL follows the highs and low of Maori and Pacific Island players in Sydney as they chase their dreams of first-grade NRL glory.
This time, cameras chart the personal and career highs and lows as the players enter the business end of the season – the finals.
Billy Ngawini, a familiar face in NGATI NRL, makes his debut for the Canterbury Bulldogs. It’s a moment he has worked towards for his whole life but can he handle the heat?
At the Balmain Tigers, young Rangi Chase gets praise from big names in the game, including Benji Marshall and Tim Sheens, but his first grade debut is shrouded in controversy. There’s also an update on talented Wests Tigers player Sam Moa.
Asquith Magpies Head Coach and former Kiwi international, Mark Horo heads to Aotearoa with a New South Wales Maori selection team. Meanwhile his Asquith team struggles at the bottom of the table.
NGATI NRL also catches up with Sonny Bill Williams, as well as Wests Tigers first graders Bronson Harrison, Benji Marshall and Dene Halatau as they face pressure to repeat last year’s grand final success.
This series introduces more hopefuls, including the Perenara boys, Marcus and Henry, as the Paramatta Eels and Cronulla Sharks join the NGATI NRL whanau.
Kick off a new season of league highs and lows when NGATI NRL returns on Thursday August 18 at 8.00 PM
