Radio One 91fm’s 2006 Onefest 26th–29th July Added Extras!!
This week it is Radio One's biggest party – Onefest!
Onefest is celebrating it’s 10-year anniversary, so we are partying up large with 4 nights of massive gigs, a record
fair in the weekend and a movie screening tonight! Make sure you write the following juicy little added extras in your
diary:
A MOVIE!
Tonight we have a screening of
BULLET BOY. Bullet Boy tells the story of two brothers growing up in one of London’s most volatile neighbourhoods. It’s
a tale of young men on the edge within Britain’s inner cities. The movie has won acclaim in Britain with director Saul
Dibb winning the Evening Standard British Film Award for Most Promising Newcomer this year. So, see you tonight at the
Academy Cinema at 8pm.
DINE AND DANCE!
Come along early to Arc Café on Thursday night because we are putting on a good old fashioned dine and dance. From 7pm
til 9pm you can grab a piece of pizza and a beer for $7.50. DJ Manick will be there entertaining you with sumptuous
tunes and spinning skills before Bachelorette and Mr Kilgour & The Heavy Eights take over.
PLUS… fancy DJs playing at the Record Fair.
We also have a team of DJs playing at the Record Fair. Come along and check out what Andy Flyboy, Tony Montana and Ras
Boof have to offer this Saturday from 11.00am until 4.00pm at the University Union whilst diggin for musical treasures.
