Sydney Cup Match Special Deal
The Knights are offering a one off special to celebrate the arrival in town of the defending Hyundai A-League champions Sydney FC.
Sydney play the Knights at North Harbour Stadium on Saturday 29th July at 2pm and to honour the champions a special ‘voucher only’ deal has been put together.
Knights Chief of Operations Simon Kozak says this is not a one off promotion but each will differ during the season.
"It will cost the adult fan $25 to see the Knights in action this year as they play a much higher standard of football and the league itself moves up a notch from last year. However we will throughout the season run specific promotions to reward fans and entice them along at even better value for money, this is the first of those opportunities."
Effectively on presentation of the voucher a family of two adults and two children can support the NZ Knights against the champions for just $25. Or one adult and up to 2 children for just $12
The voucher is available to download and print off the Knights website as of right NOW!
Portuguese Striker Signs Terms
The NZ Knights are thrilled to have captured the services of Portuguese striker Dani Rodrigues with the club and player agreeing terms last week.
The 26 year old was not cleared to play in the pre-season cup opener against Newcastle on Sunday but it is hoped the paperwork will be completed to allow Rodrigues to travel to Brisbane for the match against Queensland this weekend – although there is no guarantee this will happen in time.
Rodrigues is a former Portuguese U20 and U21 international and has appeared briefly in the Premiership for Southampton when coached by Glen Hoddle.

Leading Cereal Maker Puts Weight Behind the Knights
The NZ Knights marketing team is pleased to enlist the support of the Hubbards food empire with the cereal maker signing up last week to support the NZ Knights campaign to ‘Kick Bullying Out Of Schools’.
Hubbards partnership with the Knights will ensure that the message of this campaign lands on thousands of breakfast tables around New Zealand. The campaign will feature strongly in Hubbards famous ‘newsletter’ inserts in all their cereal brands.
Knights marketing spokesman Craig Atkinson says the support from Hubbards is not surprising given their reputation.
“Hubbards is a company with a strong social conscience and is renowned for ploughing profits back into the community and charitable organisations. They are right in behind us and Kidsline as we embark on this campaign to rid our schools of a serious social issue. We are honoured and pleased to have their considerable weight behind the Kick Bullying Out Of Schools campaign.”
