ID07 – Dunedin's world class fashion event is back in southern style
The 2007 Vodafone ID Dunedin Fashion Week will be held from 6-10 March 2007, in the romantic and remote creative city of
Dunedin, located on the wild maritime coast of New Zealand's South Island.
ID Dunedin is the only chance for all fashion followers to experience of the latest collections from international
fashion icons Nom* D, Carlson and Mild Red, who live and work in the city of Dunedin.
The finale and gold event of the week is the Vodafone ID Dunedin Fashion Show on Saturday 10 March 2007, taking place in
the grand surrounds of the century-old Dunedin Railway Station, transformed for the night into an exhilarating voyage of
the imagination.
This is the perfect place to experience the collections of New Zealand's premiere fashion designers up close on the
100-metre catwalk, and is your opportunity to discover our most promising new designers.
The complementary event is the Vodafone ID Dunedin Emerging Designers Awards, where graduates and final year students
from across the world arrive in Dunedin to turn dreams into reality.
The Emerging Designer Awards are guaranteed to delight with previous looks including reinvented mods with Mary Quant
hairstyles, bleeding edge streetwear, gorgeous silks, organza and satins, and colourful confections completed with a
Buzzy Bee.
The appeal and charm of the 2006 awards created a flurry of interest around the globe with the youthful spirit and great
atmosphere generated by concentration of international talent in this special environment.
An international panel of judges will once again select the best emerging designers from the entries, who will then show
their collections in style at the Awards event.
A sell-out last year, the 2007 Awards will be held at the Edgar Sports Centre, Dunedin on Friday 9 March.

Vodafone Sponsorship Manager Sue McGregor says it is great to be alongside ID Dunedin for Vodafone's fourth year as
