Triangle Television to Screen Fast-Paced Snowboarding Programme
Snowboarding fans can soon tune in to Triangle Television for full-on Australasian action when the popular snowboard
show Goin' Ballistyx! hits the airwaves next month.
Due to screen on Triangle Television Auckland weekly from Saturday, July 15 at 8pm, Goin' Ballistyx! focuses on
cutting-edge snowboarding action both here and in Australia where it already has won a huge audience. The show will also
screen every Saturday night on Triangle Television Wellington when that station goes to air in August.
Two knowledgeable hosts move the show along at a fast pace, cutting between weekly snowboard segments and expert guests.
Every episode features interviews with leading snowboarders from Australia and around the world. One of the highlights
is Australian Winter Olympian snowboarder Andrew Burton interviewing his snowboarding colleagues on the slopes.
The Goin' Ballistyx! line-up includes a weekly 'What's On in the Mountains' segment, French ski-bunny 'Michelle'
delivering a hilarious snow and weather forecast, and regular competitions.
There is also snowboarding from the Victorian Alps, footage and interviews from Stylewars at Australia's Falls Creek,
plus interviews with board-riders such as United States star Zach Leach. Snowboarding movie The Community Project is
also previewed in one episode.
There's no skiing on this dynamic show – it's 100 per cent pure snowboarding and a not-to-be-missed programme for those
who love high-action sport.
