Te Hue Ipu
Tracing the history of Gourds as vessel and artwork; as taonga and contemporary practice, including the research of Theo
Schoon and works loaned by the Auckland Art Gallery Toi O Tamaki, Whangarei Museum and Heritage Park, Northland Society
of Arts and collector Ron Sang, as well as contemporary works.
To compliment the Te Hue exhibition the Whangarei Art Museum presents:

One hundred years of Maori taonga and treasure from the Whangarei Art Museum Collection featuring C. F. Goldie, Maori
Women, Harata Rewiri Tarapata, 1904 – Reuben Paterson, 3 glasses of knowledge, 2004.
