Farewell to B & B on Maori Television
Get out your glad rags for the wedding of the year in the season finale of Maori Television’s popular comedy B & B (Tuesday May 23 at 9.30 PM).
Guesthouse owners Beverley and Bevan Best, aka Hori Ahipene and Te Radar, finally tie the knot after the shocking news that their marriage is a sham.
But in true B & B form, getting hitched proves to be full of hitches for the Bests!
Look out for celebrity wedding guests including TV presenter Stacey Daniels and her husband Scotty Morrison, plus pop legend Tina Cross.
They are the latest well-known Kiwis to visit Beverley and Bevan in the fictional town of Oneoneroa. Chart-toppers Nesian Mystik, actors Taungaroa Emile and David Wikaira-Paul, entertainer Jackie Clarke and newsreader Mike McRoberts have all experienced B & B’s hospitality during the second season of the six-part comedy series.
Executive producer John Givins from Livingstone Productions, which makes the show, says it’s the TV wedding of the year – with some big twists.
“When Beverley and Bevan plan anything, it always goes wrong, even when it’s their own wedding. It’s been a rollercoaster of madness and mayhem from the start and the final episode is no exception,” Givins says.
Join the Bests for their big day and one last giggle with the season finale of B & B on Maori Television on Tuesday May 23 at 9.30 PM.
