Auto Trader on-board with Greg Murphy
New Zealand’s leading on-line motoring and classified publication www.autotrader.co.nz has joined forces with Greg Murphy for the 2006 V8 Supercar Championship.
In a unique initiative, which is the first of its kind for Auto Trader, it will partner with Murphy and his fan-based website, www.murph.co.nz to deliver a series of extraordinary web-based promotions.
Tina Clyma, Group Marketing Manager of Trader Group says it is a fantastic opportunity to partner with a true Kiwi icon.
“Auto Trader has always run a weekly motorsport section, our readers are avid fans and we want to give them a whole new dimension by partnering with Greg Murphy.
“From a business perspective a lot of our clients follow motorsport and in particular Greg Murphy and many have expressed excitement at the partnership.
“Part of our strategy was to move away from traditional types of branding and we wanted to do something a bit out of the square and I’m confident this has the potential to become a long term partnership” Clyma said.
Murphy is equally enthusiastic about working with Auto Trader.
“My website continues to grow and the success of Club Murph has exceeded our wildest expectations” Murph said.
“I’m happy to be partnering with Auto Trader as I believe together we will be able to offer our collective subscriber-base some exciting programs and prizes throughout the year”.
“It’s about adding value for the fans and readers, and I look forward to working closely with Auto Trader to achieve this.
“All the promotions will be offered exclusively to registered fans, so jump on and subscribe to www.autotrader.co.nz and www.murph.co.nz to ensure you don’t miss out!” Murphy enthused.
The Placemakers V8 International will be held at Pukekohe in New Zealand on April 21-23.
