George FM Mixes It Up
George FM is proud to welcome Drum’n’Bass stalwart DJ Riddle to the Tuesday Drive show.
Hoping to reflect the growing eclecticism in the New Zealand dance music scene, we’re stoked to bring D’n’B into a primetime slot.
George Programme Director Thane Kirby is brimming with excitement about the new direction for Tuesday afternoons. “I’m brimming with excitement about the new direction for Tuesday afternoons,” he says.
Riddle began mixing at only 16 years of age by first delving into the English Rave/ Breakbeat sound before moving into Jungle in 1992.
9 years on he has established himself as one of Auckland's most prominent Drum'n'Bass DJ's.
He’s also had the pleasure of playing support for almost every international Drum'n'Bass DJ that has toured New Zealand, and he’s been doing the business every Tuesday night on George for years now.
Expect to hear all the flavours of D’n’B represented by a man who knows his tunes.
Riddle on a Tuesday completes an exciting George Drive line-up, with the Grooveadelic sounds of Jason Eli on Monday, the lively Karn Hall on Wednesdays, Sam Hill playing all the big tunes on Thursdays, and DJ Philippa funkin’ and groovin’ you into your weekend on Friday Drive.
Join DJ Riddle, every Tuesday 4-6pm, on George FM - 96.8
