Strong community focus at South Auckland launch

Manukau Mayor, Sir Barry Curtis, will officially open Christian Life Centre Auckland's new 15-acre facility in South
Auckland on Saturday 25 February.
CLCA will celebrate the launch with an afternoon of family fun from 4pm. Sited at the park-like former Lakeside
Convention Centre on Montgomorie Road near Auckland International Airport, the venue will host special fun activities
for children, including bouncy castles and face painting.
There will also be a free sausage sizzle for everyone to enjoy while listening to a variety of bands and guest
musicians, including former Zed lead singer, Nathan King.
The opening service at 6pm has a line up of dance and music items, surprises and captivating guest speakers.
There will be a free supper at the close of the service, together with more entertainment. The day will conclude at 9pm
after a spectacular fireworks display.
The church has a strong community focus and Pastor Paul and Maree de Jong invite all local residents to come along and
join in the celebrations.
"We are excited to be coming down south and personally want to invite you to join us," says Pastor Paul.
"With activities for the children, awesome bands, food and heaps of things to do, the day promises to be simply
amazing."
The venue is also the site of CLCA's newly launched Life Leadership College, which offers part time and full time
courses covering a range of business, leadership and church ministry topics.
Christian Life Centre Auckland was launched 14 years ago and has grown to become a thriving church of more than 5000. It
currently holds services in the City, Hisbiscus Coast and West Auckland. Regular South services will be at 6pm on
Saturdays and 10am Sundays.
