Madagascar And Noddy Come To Royal Easter Show
Kids big and small have even more to look forward to this Easter, with Royal Easter Show organisers this week announcing Madagascar, the Noddy and Tessie Bear show and the Cadbury Crème Egg Circus EGGstravaganza as headline acts.
In New Zealand for the first time, the hugely successful animated movie Madagascar comes to life in its very own live stage show. Exclusive to the Royal Easter Show and sure to be a hit with all ages, Madagascar’s Alex the lion, Marty the zebra and Skipper and Private the crazy penguins star in this all-singing, all-dancing live musical show on five times daily.
Enid Blyton’s popular characters Noddy and Tessie Bear also feature live with their very own stage show full of singing, dancing and plenty of audience participation. Favourites ofyoungsters everywhere and older generations too, the Noddy and Tessie Bear show features twice daily.
The Cadbury Crème Egg Circus EGGstravaganza is sure to amaze and enthral with illusions, clowns, acrobats, THE GREAT BUNNY from Cadbury and more. , the Cadbury will amaze and enthrall. Developed specially for the Royal Easter Show and performed in a brand new marquee tent, the circus is live eight to nine times each day. What’s more, THE GREAT BUNNY from Cadbury will have lots of yummy Cadbury treats for good girls and boys in the audience!
Also new this year, Boogie Fever is an energetic dance band and show celebrating the 70s disco era. Fully choreographed with breathtaking costumes and a team of talented musicians and singers, see Boogie Fever’s own special blend of stage magic daily.
Sure to please young ones, Sky TV stars Scooby Doo and Johnny Bravo (Cartoon Network) and Dora the Explorer, Sponge Bob Square Pants and Patrick (Nickelodeon), will also be onsite to meet and greet fans.
All the traditional favourites are back, including carnival rides and games, street entertainers, Farmworld, the Royal Easter Cat Show, the Royal Easter Show Art Awards with hundreds of artwork on show and for sale, and displays of award winning wine from the Royal Easter Show Wine Awards.
Entry is $35 family of five (including two adults), $16 adult, $11 senor citizen, $6 child (2-12yrs) and free for under 2s. All shows and attractions, excluding the carnival rides, are included in the entry price at no extra cost.
