Yachting New Zealand Release
Yachting New Zealand has agreed with regret that Rod Davis will relinquish his role as Olympic Director.
'Rod has done outstanding work with the team at Yachting New Zealand over the past six months to create a new Olympic plan, and to establish an uncompromising focus upon lifting New Zealand's performance in Olympic sailing. The programme for this year is underway and we are starting to see the results needed', said Des Brennan, Yachting New Zealand's Chief Executive.
Rod remains available to provide advice and coaching to the sailors on an individual basis leading up to the Olympic Games in Beijing.
Yachting New Zealand will look to making a new appointment without delay.
