Fringe 06 Programme Released
The Fringe Programme is out and about on the streets NOW.
Whether you’re an experienced ‘Fringer’or a wannabe, everything you need to know about Fringe 06 is in the Fringe 06 Programme. Designed by the hugely talented team at Creature, the 64 page colour booklet contains listings for all 83 Fringe productions, Fringe free events in Wellington and information regarding the Fringe Addict Card. Pick one up today from the Paramount Theatre, BATS, Expressions in Upper Hutt and various bars and cafes around Wellington.
Karen Blyth, director of Fringe 06 is delighted with the programme and how it looks. “Creature – our design team have done an incredible job on all our material. It’s striking and catches the eye – we are hugely indebted to Tim Fraser and Janelle Rodrigues [Creature design team].”
After a highly successful Programme Launch party (Friday 27 January), the buzz on the streets is growing as we lead up to Opening Night on Friday 10 Feb. The most rockin’ Fringe madness party will kick under way at the Paramount (9pm) on Feb 10. Thanks go to DJ RECLOOSE who will be shakin’ it up in the house. All are welcome and it’s FREE! There may even be a bit of free sponsors product to keep the masses happy while they boogie too!
Fringe 06 proudly boasts 83 registered shows in 34 different venue locations. Shows range from random acts of lunacy on the streets of Wellington to finely polished shows in Wellington theatres having cut their teeth on the world wide fringe circuit. Overseas acts from Britain, Australia, Canada and New York will grace Wellington’s shores in the three weeks of madness and chaos.
