Fringe 06
Wellington, New Zealand
February 10 - March 5 2006
Three weeks of
ORGANISED CHAOS!
The edge is getting closer.
It's time. Almost.
The official Fringe 06 Programme will shortly be unleashed upon expectant Fringe fans and Fringe virgins alike.
Containing every act and event in the Fringe, it is the definitive guide to help you navigate yourself around the cutting edge festival.
The sixty four page full colour booklet will be available at various outlets around the Wellington region from January 30, including the Paramount Theatre (the official Fringe Hub and Bar), BATS Theatre, the Fringe Office at 69 Abel Smith St and Expressions Arts and Entertainment Centre in Upper Hutt.
Karen Blyth, director of Fringe 06 explains the importance of the guide. "We have over eighty acts taking place in the Wellington region in 34 different venues from Feb 10 to March 5. The only possible way to find out about everything is to have a programme! They will be in hot demand!"
The Fringe team will also be at Radio Active 89fm's 'One Love' event at the Hataitai Velodrome on Feb 6 distributing the Fringe 06 programmes to the masses - be sure to grab one.
Blyth is wholly proud of the thirteenth festival and how it's shaping up. "It's been a lot of hard work but with the awesome staff I have we are fully prepared for one of the most successful Fringe's yet. Fringe is almost here and it'll be bigger and brighter than ever, it's going to be a MONSTER!"
The official Fringe 06 Programme Launch ceremony is to be held on Friday 27 January at the Paramount Theatre for VIPs and media.
