Top UK Act to Tour New Zealand
Hexstatic, the number one audiovisual act in the world, is coming to New Zealand.
Internationally renowned for its cutting-edge performances and just voted number one by UK magazine DJMag, Hexstatic hits New Zealand in February 2006.
Hexstatic will play a series of nationwide events – including free, open air performances in Wellington and Dunedin.
Brought to New Zealand by British Council New Zealand, Hexstatic will also play at Splore 06 and at a boutique club event in Christchurch.
A one-day professional development workshop involving Hexstatic and around 20 leading New Zealand artists will also be produced by Loop Recordings Aot(ear)oa in Wellington.
Hexstatic is Stuart Warren Hill and Robin Brunson. Together they have been consistently breaking new ground in audio and visual entertainment since 1995.
You can expect a loose mash-up of classic electro, trademarked Ninja funk, pilferings from the pair’s global outreach programme, sneaky samples and enough good humour to leave you smiling sweetly at the end of the night.
Tour Dates
10 February – Christchurch
11 February – Dunedin
16 February – Wellington
18 February – Splore 06 at Auckland's Tapapakanga Regional Park
