2005 / 2006 Sun Latte Active Woman triathlon series
After a very successful summer of events last year, the Sun Latte Active Women triathlon series is set to kick off again this weekend with the first of 13 events.
The Sun Latte Active Woman triathlon series provides a safe and fun environment for women to exercise, meet new people and challenge themselves.
Entrants will take part either as an individual entrant or in a team relay, completing a 400m swim; 12km cycle and 4km run.
Last season saw over 3000 women take part in the series, for many of them it was the first time they had done a triathlon. Over 6000 women are expected to participate in the series this year encompassing a wide variety of age and fitness abilities.
For many entrants this triathlon series is the goal they have set themselves to get out the door and begin a regular exercise program. Event days are filled with excitement, challenge and inspiration watching so many women achieve their goals.
All woman who enter an event receive a ‘goodie bag’ full of sponsors product and go into the draw to win thousands of dollars worth of spot prizes.
We are pleased to continue our relationship with The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. Over $18, 000 has already been donated, we look forward to adding to that with $5 from every entry going to this charity.
