GIRLS KICK OFF THE BOOST MOBILE HIP-HOP SUMMIT
The 2005 Boost Mobile Aotearoa hip-hop summit has let the ladies go first and begins with an all-girls event.
The Broad Spectrum ‘05 From the Cradle to the Grave exhibition opens The Boost Mobile Aotearoa Hip-hop summit at Disrupt Gallery on Thursday 6th October.
This year’s ethos for the show is “All that is certain in life is that we are born and we well die.” From the Cradle to the Grave means that there is no past or future there is only the present. The time is now! This show is for everyone to witness a glimpse into the playful world of graffiti art as we see it.
Broad spectrum is the second annual all-female graffiti / street art exhibition. This will be followed by the legendary after party at Rising Sun featuring some of the top female hip-hop artists of Aotearoa.
