Wet And Wacky Kids And Cops Pool Party
Tauranga Blue Light's much anticipated 'Big Blue Splash' pool party is on again!
Next Friday, September 23, the Greerton Aquatic Centre will be teeming with kids having fun alongside Tauranga police officers.
Event co-ordinator Iris Thomas says the event is in line with Blue Light's philosophy of encouraging better relationships between police, young people and their families.
All children from Years 5-8 (8 to 12 year olds) are welcome to try out the latest wet and wacky competitions, including craziest hair style, longest jump, tube races and heaps more.
If mums and dads fancy a couple of quiet hours while the kids have fun, they can drop their kids off at the pool party where the action is well supervised – at only $3 entry per child that's the cheapest babysitting in town!
Blue Light is anticipating a huge response so entry will be limited to 'first in first served'. Doors will open at 7pm.
Big Blue Splash notices are available through schools, from local police stations, More FM or the Greerton Aquatic Centre.
