One of One of Maoridom's strongest embodiments of all things Maori, Sir Apirana Ngata, is remembered in song this week
on Maori Television. This documentary takes place when a group of elderly ex-students and descendents gather at
Porourangi Marae in Ruatoria to revive the songs of their ancestor.

Few people know of British Columbia's forgotten leper colony - D'Arcy Island - where between 1891 and 1924 a handful of
men and women were banished there to die in solitude. Maori Television opens up a chapter in North American history that
refuses to be forgotten on this week's international documentary.
