Carol Banner
Carol is basically self-taught and works predominantly with pencil and pastel. She is primarily influenced by the Art Nouveau movement and, in particular, the work of M.C.Escher. Carol's work exhibits a use of fantasy, distortion and metamorphosis inspired by nature's myriad shapes and textures.
Lynn Beesley
Lynn's work is based on personal experiences and observations of relationships and on the nature of cultural identity, particularly for women. Her work often portrays masks which represent the many faces we use to conform within society and the roles we play.
Lynn initially worked as a graphic designer before studying for a degree in Fine Art, followed by a post graduate teaching degree in Art and Design.
