New Presenters Announced For National Radio
Radio New Zealand has announced new presenters for two National Radio programmes scheduled to go to air in September . Sarah McMullan has been appointed as presenter of the three hour Home Grown music programme on Saturday afternoons and Bryan Crump will host week day evenings on National Radio.
Home Grown on National Radio With more than ten years experience in professional radio, including projects with MTV, BBC, KISS FM and Classic FM in London, Sarah worked until recently in commercial radio in Christchurch. She has also written for Rip It Up magazine doing a local music round up together with book, film and concert reviews.
A big kiwi music fan she says she is delighted to get the opportunity to focus on the work she loves:
“ I am so excited to be able to work with so much New Zealand music – especially emerging acts. I’m looking forward to being able to do some in-depth interviews as opposed to the “hit and run” interviews commercial radio often requires. “
Home Grown will feature live interviews, music features and documentaries, focusing on contemporary New Zealand and international music, and exploring music issues and stories from a New Zealand perspective. The first of the new Home Grown programmes will go to air on Saturday 24th September at 2 pm on National Radio.

He hosted the popular National Radio Summer evening programme over Christmas – New Year and has stepped in to present In Touch With New Zealand and Outspoken from time to time.
