Xbox Superpipe Opens At The Remarkables
And that was just the warm up…
The 150 metre long Xbox Superpipe at The Remarkables is now open for business. The Superpipe gets its first competitive outing this Saturday, August 6, with the 2005 NZ Snowboard Association South Island Championships.
Youth Action Sports Coordinator for the ski area, Deni Bevin, says riders are keen to try out the result – “Freestylers are really keen to get into the pipe. This halfpipe event will see the cream of New Zealand’s freestyle crop, including Remarkables Parklife team members, throwing down against top riders from around the globe.”
