‘No-budget’ kiwi thriller picked up for worldwide distribution
York Entertainment has picked up the international rights for all territories excluding NZ/Australia, for distributing ‘Memories of Tomorrow’ – a ‘no budget’ kiwi thriller. “York Entertainment is proud to be distributing ‘Memories of Tomorrow’” says Tanya York, York Entertainment CEO, “The film resonates with a lyrical beauty that underscores the action in the plot. As opposed to typical action movies, the characters have real depth; the leads invoke a fragility that contrasts nicely with the nature of their professions. The effect is dreamlike and disorienting.” York will release the movie in the fourth quarter of 2005.
Arkles Entertainment has taken on Australasian distribution of "Memories of Tomorrow". Arkles CEO, John Davies says
"Amit and his team have created a suspenseful thriller that gives deep insight into its characters and conjures up an
exciting back story that keeps viewers entertained to the end". Arkles will release "Memories of Tomorrow" in NZ/
Australia for rental in 2005 and retail sales from early 2006."
Writer/director/producer Amit Tripuraneni says “It is exciting that the movie has secured both local as well as
international distribution deals. It is a satisfying feeling knowing that the hard work and sweat that the entire cast
and crew put into the movie can finally be seen by a bigger and wider audience.” An equally excited Lance Wordsworth,

without any money and have it noticed.”
‘Memories of Tomorrow’ was made with a budget of NZ$ 15,000, with most of the cast and crew devoting their time and
energies for free. The shoot time was spread over 20 days across weekends of 5 months, with post production taking
another 4 months. The movie has created a buzz locally as well as internationally with its technical quality and has had
positive reviews from local as well as international websites. The movie was recently screened at Asia Film Festival
