State of the Music Nation report released
The New Zealand Music Industry Commission (NZMIC) is pleased to release the latest in the ongoing series of quarterly State of the Music Nation reports.
The reports contain figures collated from different areas of the NZ music industry including radio, television, retail, venues, and websites. The purpose of the reports is to provide a basis for periodic comparison of the NZ music industry. Over time, these reports will map the sector’s growth, and highlight various achievements of NZ artists and companies.
The State of the Music Nation reports will provide readily accessible data about the NZ music industry for use by government departments, musicians, media, businesses, academics, or anyone with an interest in the NZ music industry.
Please find attached the report, covering the quarter from January 1st to March 31st 2005. The report for the subsequent quarter will be forthcoming soon.
