The Lambuji and Tinguji Show
Season: Tuesday 10 – Saturday 14 May (opening night sold out)
Time: 6.30pm
Tickets: $15 full/$12 concession and groups 8+
Drawing inspiration from two comic characters in the infamous 1977 Bollywood movie “Coolie”. Lambuji (The Tall One) and
Tinguji (The Short One) had a short but memorable appearance during a fantastical comic song and dance routine in the
movie. Rina Patel and Mishul Prasad have been exploring the nature of these two characters and have reinvented them to
reflect the realities of immigrant life in New Zealand, while at the same time staying true to the characters comic
origins. Resulting in a hilarious comic adventure that is testament to the power of the imagination. Presented by the
Untouchables – who brought you the award winning Yatra in Fringe 04.
Lovepossibly
Season: Tuesday 10 – Saturday 14 May (opening night sold out)
Time: 8pm
Tickets: $15 full/$12 concession and groups 8+
Yet another romantic comedy! ‘Lovepossibly' is a totally improvised ‘chick flick’ where you call the shots, brought to
you by the Wellington Improvisation Troupe’s Improv Divas (‘highly inventive” – National Business Review). Love and
long-form improvisation are high-stakes games for consenting adults only. But if you loved ‘Four Flops and a Turkey’,
‘Nothing Hill’ and ‘Bridget’s Dairy Intolerance’, you must see this show. Launched at BATS in 2001, the Divas were New
Zealand’s first all-female improvisation act - now they are pioneering the first improv RomCom in the country. They are
joined on stage by WIT’s leading men and sensitive new age guys. Featuring Clare Kerrison, Danielle Hodgson, Kirstin
Price, Julian Wilson, Nicola Hill, Nigel Chin, Paul Sullivan and Simon Smith. PG Adult Themes.

master of media skewering… of higher brow than most”(NZ Herald)
