CHRISTCHURCH, INVERCARGILL, NEW PLYMOUTH, AND WHANGAPARAOA RETAILERS SELL WINNING TICKETS FOR LOTTO'S WINNING WHEEL
Five lucky players will have the chance to spin and win on Lotto's Winning Wheel after their tickets were announced as
winners on tonight's live Lotto draw.
The winning tickets were sold by Lotto retailers in Christchurch, Invercargill, New Plymouth and Whangaparaoa.
The winning serial numbers for draw 933, Saturday, 23 April 2005 are:

So far, three Winning Wheel winning tickets have been sold in New Plymouth. Two New Plymouth winners have spun and won
$150,000 and $250,000, and a syndicate from Bell Block are due on the Lotto draw on 7 May.
Christchurch has already had three Winning Wheel winning tickets claimed. Two of the three previous winners won $100,000
and the third $200,000. There is one outstanding ticket in Christchurch for Winning Wheel. This was sold at Countdown
Church Corner and drawn in March.
In Invercargill, Southland woman Micaela Riley spun and won $300,000 on 2 April this year. This will be the third
Winning Wheel winning ticket sold in Invercargill, with one ticket sold in December still to be claimed.
"We want to make sure that all our winners come forward and claim their chance to win big on Lotto's Winning Wheel.
Winning tickets are identified by the serial number which is located at the bottom right-hand corner of every Lotto
ticket," said Mr Hall.
Saturday night's Winning Wheel winner, Mary Maireroa, nominated her partner Max Laufili to spin for her. The Auckland
couple took home a $250,000 prize after his spin on the live Lotto draw.
Since Winning Wheel started in August 2004, 39 Lotto players from all over New Zealand have claimed their prize and spun
and won. The four biggest winners have walked away with prizes of $500,000 cash or a $500,000 house and land package.
Winners, who stay in the Capital with a support person at the luxury Duxton Hotel, have said the trip to Wellington to
spin the Winning Wheel has become a once-in-a-lifetime memory. The weekend also includes exhibition passes to Te Papa, a
shopping trip with a stylist to choose clothes for the TV appearance and a lunch date with a Lotto Presenter.
"Players can check their ticket by going to any Lotto store and running their ticket through a terminal, or by logging
on to NZ Lotteries website www.nzlotteries.co.nz and checking their ticket against the winning serial numbers.
There are still 14 Winning Wheel winners from the last 8 months who have yet to come forward and go in the draw to spin
and win up to $1million. The tickets will expire 12 months after they were drawn.
