ANZAC DAY PROGRAMMING
ANZAC Day, Monday April 25
Maori Television will commemorate ANZAC Day with a selection of hand-picked programming during prime time hours. These include ANZAC DAY – a six-minute montage film by Kiri Wharepouri that captures dawn ceremonies from Auckland to Gallipolli, MONTE CASSINO – 60 YEARS ON – a half-hour documentary on the 60th anniversary of the Battle of Monte Cassino, told through the experiences of veterans and survivors and SCIASCIA - an award-winning AFTA 2003 documentary in the Maori Language category that tells the true story of a mystic journey by one New Zealand Maori family in search of their Italian origins.
KORERO MAI
ANZAC Day, Monday April 25 at 7.00 PM
Maori Television’s premier language learning series KORERO MAI launches a third series at 7.00 PM on Monday April 25. The first 30 episodes of the series have been dedicated to revision of the language learning already undertaken in the first two series – allowing loyal viewers the opportunity to consolidate their language learning and erratic viewers to catch-up.

This disturbing slice-of-life documentary paints the lives of homeless Croatian teenagers living in the sub-zero temperatures at Zagreb Central Station. Meet hermit-like Miroslav (15), the chain-smoking, trash-talking Miro (12), husband and father Ljubo (15) and deceptively streetwise Renato (8), who explain life on the other side of the tracks.

The Sunday Feature : I’LL MAKE YOU HAPPY is an entertaining comedy heist film in which teenage bad-girl Siggy (Jodie Rimmer) has big dreams for the future.
