All artists, organisers and helpers are donating their time and energy to this event. The money raised will go to
collectively-run business the *Cake Shop* situated at 166 Cuba St.
The Cake Shop is an attempt to preserve Wellington's unique local culture in the face of the Te Aro Bypass, rampant
urban gentrification and American popular monoculture. Currently the shop is home to an internet cafe, a pre-loved
clothing stall and Wellington's long running anarchist and anti-authoritarian bookshop, *The Freedom Shop*. Other
projects in the works include an open performance space and vegan juice bar.

Get out your anarchist cookbook and get baking! The best cake will win a stunning trophy and 15 hours worth of free high
speed internet at the Cake Shop. Just bring your cake along to Thistle Hall between 7.00 and 7.30pm on the night.
