CENTREBET MEDIA RELEASE (APRIL 12, 2005)
Lions Big Underdogs With Or Without Wilkinson
Centrebet says that the British and Irish Lions will kick off their Test series against the All Blacks as big underdogs irrespective of the fitness of World Cup-winning five-eighth Jonny Wilkinson.
Sir Clive Woodward's Lions are 2.50 with Centrebet to win their first Test series in New Zealand since 1971. The bookmaker is taking bets at 1.57 that the All Blacks triumph on their own turf.
Centrebet favours Kiwi sides to beat the Lions, win this year's Super 12 final and prevail in the 2007 Rugby World Cup. New Zealand is its outsider to host the 2011 Rugby World Cup, though.
Jonah Lomu is 2.50 with Centrebet to represent the All Blacks at the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
