25 Hours Of Continuous Mini Golf And A New World Record!
The world's longest ever game of mini golf has finished this morning in Auckland and a new world record's been set.
It's been 25 grueling hours but The Rock's Bryce Casey has made history with a new world record for continuous mini golf by an individual.
"I'm knackered," were the last words from Bryce before falling asleep with a foot massage after stepping off the course for the first time.
After 91 rounds, 1638 holes and walking the equivalent of 45,500 metres, Bryce put down his putter at 8.05 this morning, the first time since picking it up at 7.05 am yesterday at Lilliputt Mini Golf on Auckland's Tamaki Drive.
The current Guinness World Record for mini golf record is held by Matt Majikas who set a 24-hour record last year at Mulligan’s Miniature Golf, Sterling, Massachusetts, USA.
This morning's NZ record will be submitted to Guinness World Record officials today - and with the approval of the World Mini Golf Federation in Sweden.
