LOTTO PLAYERS WHO BOUGHT IN GLENFIELD AND MANGERE EAST COULD BE WINNING WHEEL WINNERS
Two Lotto players who bought tickets in Glenfield and Mangere East for last weekend's Lotto Winning Wheel bonus draw
have yet to step forward to claim their prize, New Zealand Lotteries Commission (NZ Lotteries) Chief Executive Trevor
Hall said today.
The unclaimed tickets were sold at Marlborough Stationers in Glenfield and Mangere East Post & More. This is the first Winning Wheel ticket to come from a store in Mangere.
Marlborough Stationers owner Jan Lategan said she was absolutely delighted.
"We just wish we could do it every week, hopefully it is a regular player."
Mr Hall said that since Lotto's Winning Wheel started in August last year, 33 players from all over New Zealand have
claimed their prize and spun and won a variety of prizes. Winning Wheel winners also get to enjoy a five star weekend in
Wellington.
"We want to make sure all our winners come forward and claim their chance to win big on Winning Wheel."
The four biggest winners have walked away with prizes of $500,000 cash or a $500,000 house and land package.
So far, nine Winning Wheel winners have appeared from the Auckland region and they have won a total of $875,000 in
prizes.
A lucky save occurred recently when one Henderson player happened to check a few old tickets at a local Lotto store. The
player was thrilled to discover they had the Winning Wheel serial number from a month ago.
The player said they always double check their ticket using the Sunday newspaper and then they take old tickets into a
store 'just in case'.
"Anyone with tickets needing to be validated should take their tickets to a Lotto retailer, they could be in for a
surprise," said Mr Hall.

Four of the ten Winning Wheel winners in the past eight months yet to come forward and go on the draw to spin and win up
to $1 million are from the Auckland Region. Their tickets will expire 12 months from the date they were drawn.
